On April the first 2003 I landed in Kabul, Afghanistan with Mark (Freddy) Fredricks. ARTIST IN SCHOOLS
ALASKA STATE COUNCIL ON THE ARTSBrian Hutton and I have been accepted into the talent pool for the Alaska State Council On The Arts for the school year of 2004-05. This workshop is from design to performance, two week intensive, for high school age students that have an interest in theatre and perfoming arts. Brian brings a Master in Education along with 20 years writing and performing in theatre from New Orleans to Anchorage. I have a long resume in the trades with 10 years of set design/construction. This experince lead me to the land of puppetry in far off Prague, Czech Rep. where I learned the craft of building marionettes (Puppets in Prague). Over the past three years I have built and produced puppet shows in Anchorage, AK along with doing workshops with Brian. To see a repertory of shows/puppets I have built click here. |
